Leak Free Coupling for English loc
Technology Trading received the order from Vossloh Rail Vehicles, to develop a new dry-disconnect coupling with integrated overfill protection. This coupling will be applied in 15 new locomotives, which Vossloh builds for England.
The English connection is not following the NATO 3756 standerd, which is commonly used in Europe. It has an own standard, which requires a modification of our coupling.
Vossloh also wanted the coupling to be placed high in the tank, therefore we needed to adapt the floating construction as well. Which meant another challenge for Technology Trading.
